Know exactly what you mean about FB Ads, still trying to figure out how to target better and get them working like you do. Generally it has been about 6-8 leads a week! Any recommendations welcomed.

Adwords is a minefield but I use a "SEO company" and they have been very true to their word and been very successful with it.

Frank Kern did some good informative stuff with adwords, believe it was infomillionaire?

FB ads can be a right royal pain in the tush... but once you get them working it regularly brings in between 6 and 12 new leads a day... I have one running for my FitForArchery niche and I am getting on average 8 new leads a day from about 20 clicks on the ad.

Google adwords is not so easy... I spend very little money on this at the moment, but it does still bring in a handful of leads a week. Going to do more on PPC in general when I get five mins to breath :o)

SEO... I use http://websitegrader.com/ about two or three times a week, and google analytics on the days in between, this gives me feedback on search terms that are used to find my sites. I have recently started testing different descriptions and title tags to see if I get more traffic, and of course each of my articles uses one or two keywords that I have featured on the page.

Stuff I don't do too well is back linking from other peoples BLOGs on forums and that kind of stuff... always forget :o) plus I hate hanging about in forums

I have to admit - I really struggloe with my FB ads. They really limit what you're allowed to say in the ad - for example you can't say "fat" or intimate anything that "may degrade the viewer". Which means attention grabbing copy is out!

And google adwords is all a bit scary to me at the moment. I feel like I'm going to get swallowed up in a big black hole and I'd be better off throwing money out the window.

Some more info on this would be great!

Also when you say you do SEO daily - what do you mean? Do you check keywords and update them daily? Do you set backlinks daily?

Hi Tim, this is really a good and helpful post. I'm still working on the social networking post that you did the other day. Thanks for the reminder that this is an everyday effort.

Happy thanksgiving!
